ive took 3 motors apart in this month and 3 of em all have groves from the seales worn in the crank and cams, none of em were leaking so hopefully they wont leak with the new seals
seems to be a big problem with the 3.0....

All the 3.0's I've taken apart (about 4) didn't have any grooves in the crankshaft or camshafts and the mileage ranged from 160,000 to 36,000. If the crank has a groove use a speedy sleeve on the rear main for a fresh sealing surface.

Yeah, grooves in my cranks. I didnt put the seal in the same spot (pushed farther back) but I cant say thats a good idea. I think mine was leaking the first time I put it back together but I dont think its leaking this time. When I say leak, I mean barely anything but still a leak.

No idea what speedy sleeve is.
