Is it me or am i missing the straight pipe that comes with the cat back? Brent...you've bought TU exhaust systems does this look different from yours? or anyone for that matter? It looks like it will fit. On my other daytona i had 3 inch cat back that i made from a suburban's exhaust...yes a suburban. It was a buddy's and i got it for 50 bucks...lots of welding but it worked. So i dont see how this will be a problem. I do need the straight part however....check out TU to see what im talking about. I emailed chris so hopefully i can get it under the car soon.

Yeah i know i know. I was debating cat or resonator. I hope i dont regret this decision....and get droned out of my freaking car. My other daytona was terrible....but it had a CRAPPY muffler and no high flow cat. Honestly if its that bad....ill put a resonator on it later or something. My Iroc wont be a daily driver anymore anyway.

Just go to a local muffler shop and buy some 3" straight pipe. You'll need it because your cat is too short.

If you look in the picture on TU their kit the "cat back" kit has a straight part that would go right after the cat. Oh and im not going to my local muffler shop if i just got shorter for something that i paid for. Why pay for something twice?

The pipe you are missing has a 30 deg bend on the end so you cant just get a straight pipe and "be done".

Oh yea, right the pictures. The pictures also show the L- body exhaust pipe with the hanger attached but...it doesn't come like that, have to weld your own.

I agree, don't pay for something twice. If you can wait for the part great, if not, buy your own and send them the bill.

Enjoy the 3" exhaust, your gonna love it.

Are you sure that Cat will work? I don't know about the 93....but my 91 3.0 Daytona's Cat did not/does not have an air tube.

I just put a 2.5" kit from fwd on mine, with a Magnaflow Cat and a turbo muffler from Summit....and it's tolerable...but sill a bit loud. That setup you have, is going to be obnoxiously loud....esp. in 3".

Basically everyone on TD's experience is that 2.5-3" sounds the same if not maybe the 2.5" being more droning.

The airhole on his cat is cap'd off so its not a problem unless he removes it.
