Looks like a Diamante or Stealth SOHC lower intake mani.

The Raider/Montero unit would have a smaller thermostat housing.

It sure is, the DOHC manifolds don't have circular ports. If you look on here at 3sx you can see that the DOHC are semi squarish.

So you gonna build a long runner intake out of it?

I wanted to build one of those a few years ago... I just hadn't played with all the volume math...

I think the inlet runners are WAY too long on that. Those are longer then stock.

im still wondering if the full stealth intake would any better then ours, i think it would fit if i modded it to take the throuttle body on the drivers side so it would clear out alt...
not sure were i would get a feed for my heater core, i never had heat in the spirit but its too dam hard keeping the windows clear on rainy nights

there are more than 2 threaded holes on the thermostat housing of that lower runner setup. One will be for the temp gauge on the dash. Another will be for the PCM (coolant temp sensor). The third will be for a run-around for the pump bypass. And the last one will be for the heater. If it doesn't have all of the holes for these, Mitsubishi sometimes used a multiple outlet fitting for one of the threaded holes. Maybe if I look hard enough, I can find my old one somewhere here.

nope!!!

Not unless you mount it 180* out. Meaning having the t-stat housing above the exhaust crossover pipe.

Then there's the "other" option. Cut off a portion of the T-stat housing and weld on another peice of aluminum, in order to clear it.
