The auto manufacturers would have ditched the costly turbocharger / supercharger setups in favor of simpler, lighter weight, dime a dozen 12v hamster wheel air handlers for the added punch when needed. That is, if these contraptions actually did anything.

It makes me want to buy one, install it, and post a video on YouTube with actual boost pressures at full throttle to prove it once and for all. Too bad I have too many other things to do and to pay for right now.

wow, can't even pump enough to effect idle. Aim it up at the rear window and it'll defog it, pointed towards the front to cool off in the heat. My 70 Challenger has the same thing for a defogger stock.

Lol...use it to blow some NOS into the motor.....you'll definitely get gains that way.

I guess we can now say "Turbododge has the proof that electric turbos are a thorough waste of time and money."

this way very few people get hosed though. If no body said anything too many would try it and find out the hard way. I keep waiting to see one sticking through the hood of a car on Family Guy one of these days, should have used it with the Dukes of Hazzard theme.

THAT, could actually be possible. A leaf blower is far more powerful and flows a lot more air. But even then, a 10 horsepower gain isn't much.

Awesome video BTW. By far, the best I have seen in testing these things out. We should donate to the cause. You are da man!

One thing that would be interesting to do with that thing--get some hamsters, and let them use that blower as their wheel to run on. Use the 12V electric motor as a generator and see how much juice a pair of hamsters can generate in one night. Might solve the world's energy crisis
