im having trouble finding a set of heads that have perfect looking cam journals, even the cams i sent to had a few nicks and scratches on em, but how bad is too bad?

lot of it looks like dirt got in em,

Pictures? Most of the 3L cams and journals I have seen are far from perfect, but that doesn't seem to impact performance. Genreal rule of thumb, anything that catches a finger nail should be delt with.

il try and get picks, yea i seen some nasty looking cams that came from motors that ran great
