Just buy ANY decent brand of wire and you'll be fine.
I've had 3 yr old MSD wires come apart on my truck
I've had 3 sets of Jacobs wires over the years, and never had a problem. They also carry a lifetime warranty (or at least they used to).
I've not run Magnacore's yet...
I think my next set of wires will most likely be Firewires Welcome to FireCore50.com!

I wanted to post a picture that shows how companies fake low resistance
This is directly from Crane's website (they sell the lower ohm wires which are constructed almost exactly the same as the firewire 50's.....But lower resistance (25)....and MSD + aurora are similar too).
Note that the coiling which MSD only uses for supression????
These companies use it to give false low resistance readings when you test with 1 volt DC.
Its pretty obvious that when you put 50 thousand volts and 10-100 amps through the wire.....that what matters is that big core of wires....and the gobs of resistance they have. Im glad Crane Cams is stupid enough to prove Magnacor's point.
if you want to do a real test, cut up each brand of wire and only test the inner core that actually carries the current.
Anyways, if you love the firewire 50..you probably would rather have Crane Cams firewire 25.
Or consider that those numbers are bogus?

I hope you mean milliamps, most factory ignition coils will be from 100-300ish milliamps with 50KV. It only takes a 1 Amp to kill a person, yet many have lived from a sparkplug discharge. I could only imagine running 4 gage ignition wires if it was 100amps, lol!
Now the performance flamethrower uses about 7.2amps, ouch!
Here is a link to the MSD Blaster 2 coil showing only 140mA peak current, I believe we use blaster 2 coils in the 3.0 as a upgrade?! MSD Ignition 8202 - MSD Blaster 2 Ignition Coils - summitracing.com

haha sorry. those numbers are what I believe top fuel cars run from their magnetos (not anything on a normal or even most race cars)........of course I have no idea what their magnacore wires look like.

Do you guys, using blaster coils, go through caps and rotors fast? Do you really think coils that hot make a difference? Wont a slightly hotter than stock, 8228 coil and a MSD 6A, work just as well?

It was a good opportunity for a new one and moved to the front of my plenum when i got my magnacores. Just go brents route and get a 5.0 coil

Well, the 5.0 coil can apparently be improved upon. They have aftermarket versions with longer dwell times (made by MSD and by others) which supposedly gives more time for saturation and results in a hotter spark......I was looking at this last night in response to Lookin's questtion. I dont think mustangs go through ignition parts......
Its a 48,000 volt coil which is hotter then the blasters. The improved ones cost more $ of course where the stocker costs $22 bucks at napa.
I use NGK v-powers which dont last long and my problem with distributor caps always seems to be that they touch the rotor and those parts wear each other out....
