Try this Summit Terminals list too.

Male/HEI, Ignitions & Electrical - summitracing.com

Are these the specific ones you need? If the boots wont fit, individual coil packs, I think the terminals will, and if you already have the right boots you could combine them.

i had a bit of an idea on the 6 hour drive home today. i still have the magnecore wires from before i went DIS and i have the HEI terminals on my current wires, i MAY be able to de-crimp the MSD wires and switch them over to the Magnecore ones and have just enough length....something to look at over this week

but to answer your questions, i have a 2000 Eclipse GT v6 motor and regular GM DIS coilpacks (HEI boots)

That may work. I am not so sure that reusing crimps is a good idea though.

I've done it in a pinch with the Magnecor wires when I had the ends pull off and no other option. I cut off the bad section of wire, stripped off enough to exopse a good section of the core and hand crimped the terminal back on with some pliers. It worked well enough that it didn't come back off....

Summit lists a 9 pack for about $13 (before shipping) and ebay is similar with usually a $10-$14 shipping cost...

well, i was bored tonight while waiting for my car to get an alignment done (2nd day waiting grrr ) and decided to take apart the distributor end of one of the magnecore wires i bought for it last year. i found out it was a single crimp foldback job with a bend in the metal connector to get the 90* into the distributor. i also noticed what looked like arching or some other form of brown scoring on the wire. i also took pictures of the rubber boots on the spark plug shafts taht caused me so much grief when they pulled off and were stuck on the spark plugs IN the head.

im pretty sure i can trim off less than an inch of the wires and replace the connectors with the Summit HEI connectors (if i can get the double crimp ones) and use these wires again. they dont have much use on them at all and would look cleaner in the engine bay than the MSD ones currently in use, plus i think the MSD ones are 8mm and the magnecores are 8.5 mm

boot off, can see the tip of the conductor past the end of the crimp

foldover again (little fuzzy)

taken apart, see the bend in the conductor

the brown scoring

the boot issue

current setup

Those are not Magnacore wires. Those look like OEM wires.

huh, guess one got pulled over on me. MagStar is a totally diff company, apparently specializing in MARINE wires. In addition, the wiring markings and color are different. Thanks for the heads up on that Brent, never woulda caught that myself. guess ill have to ask magnecore to make a set with the HEI ends for me

If you are making a project of it, you might try the MSD connectors.

Its magnacor with no E on the end. I usually misspell it (like in the thread title).
