Hi everyone,

I have been considering making a set of intake spacers for my 3.0 Acclaim for awhile now, and then I got to thinking that since the only place that seems to make them is Cheetah Online and a lot of people seem to be unhappy with those, maybe I'd try and offer an alternative. Would anyone be interested in a set? If so, what thickness (please vote in the poll) and what price range would seem reasonable to you to pay for them? If I can get enough interest to warrant ordering extra material, I'd be willing to try and make a couple of extra sets.

Each set would be hand-made, out of XX Grade Phenolic material, and basically would use the stock gasket as a template. Keep in mind, they won't be as precision-cut as a piece made by CNC, so your interest and price should reflect that. This is by no means a definite thing yet, but like I said, if there's enough interest I'll probably go ahead and do it.

Also, I'll be looking for a "guinea pig" to test the first set. Someone who is willing to pay a discounted price and then give an honest feedback to the rest of the population as to whether or not the product that I made is worth the price you will help me decide on. I don't want to take a bunch of orders only to find out that people aren't happy with the end result, so I'd want someone respectable to vouch for me.

That all said, let me know what your opinions are. Thanks.

BTW: I'm running this same poll in the EEK forum on Allpar, so if you've voted there, there's no need to vote twice - thanks!
