I think you will run into problems setting timing like that because they seem to be different on both my motors (because of tolerances).

I can take a picture of my spirit's but it doesnt have a pully and I honestly dont know what the timing is at. I just have it set that it doesnt ping going up hills. My Duster has a normal pulley but ive never measured the timing. I just put it where it idles decently cause of the cams. I did turn it back a few degrees a month ago when I turned up the boost a little.

I just set mine by ear. I've done it often enough that I can just tell when she's right.

sorry I hadnt slept since thursday (8 hour nap after church today) working on my cars, having them break down and putting bansheenut's car back together.

Ill go take some pics to help you out.

edit, Ill try to do it when I wake up. which might be sorta late. My sleep schedule is all screwed up now thanks to working on broken cars.

Try putting it there. After taking the pic I moved it back to line up the pink lines I made last winter because I want to throw as much advance at the car as possible. Im not going up any hills and I want mileage.

But i have no idea what the timing is set to in this picture. My duster has a timing wheel but it has no fuel/ignition with the new problem so I cant get better info then this :P

I can take a picture of the NBP that I got from m90daytona because he claims the timing marks he made actually work. The ones I made on my Spirit's pulley don't work and I haven't tried swapping them cause I ignore my Spirit at all opportunities.

My guess is that is 14-15 degrees. You should not have problems around there. Widebands kick butt. My duster started again today so maybe this week i will check the timing.

Why do you need a relay board? The stock ASD setup works well as a "relay board" and looks factory.
