You get a life lancer. As if the 2.2/2.5 turbo is some dream car motor that everyone is salivating to own. Step back and take yourself down a peg. It the 2.2/2.5 is not THAT great. It's not a bad motor for it's day, but sure not a great one either, mostly due to piss poor cylinder head flow. And why would you want both manifolds in the back? Stock for stock, these days I bet a new base model civic will give any stock T1 car a good run for it's money. Normally I would never isntall a 2.2 or 2.5 into anything that did not come stock with it. These days with the easy availability of 2.4's, it does not make much sense. I will be installing a T2 into what originally was a V6 car just because it's a very low mileage engine I happen to own and might as well use it. But if I was to build an engine from scratch, a 2.2/2.5 WOULD be a waste of time/money/energy. So from my point of view, putting a 2.2/2.5 into something is no better/worse than putting a V6 into something.

Ok, if you like Hondas so much maybe u should change ur scene name and start posting on a Honda sight. Also u obviously are lost, look at the comp ratios that they come with stock, also the final drive raios in the trannies. I doubt, from listening to u blab that u could BUILD anything, or ever have, Im sure you pay to have your oil changed. loser

Wow. Grow up little Lancer boy. I have had a couple turbo cars. Nice, fun, but exceedingly wonderful like you dream? Like I said, you got a little numbered car and think you know beans now.

If Chrysler hadn't offered the 3.0 when it did, because its own V6 wasn't ready yet, they would have LOST sales at a time they couldn't afford to. Even at the height of the turbo years. Shelby numbered car sales couldn't have done it. By that token, the 3.0 wasn't the best motor ever made either. It was a decent motor for its day, that has some tuning potential, but no aftermarket support. There once was a time the 2.2/2.5 had no support either. And sadly, nobody cares much about "Real" Shelbys that aren't Ford. Fact of life. Get used to it.

Go be a troll someplace else. You would be welcome here if you had something constructive to add. But you don't.

Silly kid, other than this community, most folks never KNEW Shelby worked with Dodge. I thought perhaps we might have had some common ground but there just doesn't seem to be any way to work with you.

Not sure what you are so angry about but it has no place here.

i believe a 3.0 rampage would kick butt. Especially if you were to stick a 24v SOHC or something in it. The torque of the 3.0 is awesome and in a light vehicle like a rampage, it'd run like a raped ape

Yeah, why would you want to build a 3.0 turbo and make almost 400whp on 13psi. DUH! Some people just blow me away.

I asked in the thread with the pics of the 3.0 in the Rampage if it was still around or if anyone knows more about it. And somewhere on my desktop machine I have pics of the 3.0 in an Omni... See if I can find them.

Meantime, I'm back to playing with my Jeep...
