I currently have one person seriously interested in a turbo header. If there are more people interested that would save on flange costs and construction time. Cost should be about $560 plus shipping for a bare header and $610 for a ceramic coated header.

If you are interested, PM me or email me at ed _at_ kmperformance.com.

Thanks

Have you thought about using those cheap flanges here?
6G72 3.0L SOHC - 1/2" 1018 CRS - Laser Cut 3000GT

Ive heard you might have to get them machined flat though.

I used them on the prototype... I spent many hours grinding the holes out large enough to fit the pipe through... My hands tingled for days... I am not going to do that again, hence I am making some custom head flanges with ports large enough to fit the pipe through.

Even if I did it, they time spent open the ports quickly costs more than the extra for the custom flanges.

Well, it doesn't have to be a secret ed. I am seriously interested. The price is higher than I'd like, but for the ease of installation, it's a bargain.

That you are purchasing a header is your information to release as you see fit/desire... :)

I will be building them for a while. It is easier to build more than one at a time hence the post...

The way I am working this is half up front as a deposit. Then the remainder upon completion. Pictures can be sent as progress is made. Right now the key lead time is the ordering the flanges. It will take about 1 month for them to arrive.

Are these a full header kit for both sides? Or is this the same (similar) unit that replaces the rear manifold, that attaches to the stock crossover pipe?

You said you were going half up front right? Then the second half after? How much total again? How long would it take?
