Michigan Mopar Owners Reunion

Hey to all South West Michigan Mopar ownners...I was thinking that we should all get together at Martin race track located next to highway 131.

Every year that i go to the track its sad to see that theres barely any late 80's - early 90's mopar cars...we need to let the imports and new domestic tuners that we exist and are readdy to show what our 2.2, 2.2DOHC, 2.5, and 3.0s have to offer...

Plus it will be fun to meet each talk about mods, tricks, hints, see all the cars and have a great time.

So if you live in South west Michigan or any part of michigan and like the idea lets plan everything, set a date, and time...

Any ideas or suggestions welcome.. LETS MEKE IT HAPPEN

Bdubs near 12 and van dyke is where we usually meet once in a while. I am sure if planning is done right, we could all travel to milan or lapeer for some drag racing. Or just cruising woodward/gratiot can be it too....... Hell why not both!

when is the next meeting at bdubs? id like to come out with my 3.0l turbo shadow and meet some people, and check out some cars

That sounds good, but where are those places you talked about? Summer is right around the corner so lets keep postting.

id be a good idEa to hit different Tracks in Michigan so alot more Mopar dudes gets a chance to gather.

Let me know when and where. There used to be a mopar car gathering @ Angelo's coney on van slyke & bristol rd in flint but that's all small block / big block guys. There was a chyrsler 350 there talk about badass !!!!!!

On may third they had a drift comp at auto city speedway. There were a couple shadows there but nothing special. Every wed there is a classic car show downtown, there are a bunch in waterford as well. There are enough of us in mi to make a show.
Gotta make a splash @ one of the local shows, show those v8 who's boss and get some R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

hahaha dude are you talking about Dashworks in portage on westnedge?...And im not so into street racing anymore that was when i was 16-17 i kinda grew out of that. But who knows? maybe once the Daytona is put back together and running i might go back to it to see what the car has to offer....
And i dont know about showing V8 whos the boss unless you have any sort of forced induction, but we can prolly show them what our cars can or cant do.

3.3L AWD? nice. Does the 3.3 make 180HP stock? youre all readdy 39hp ahead of me..lol you should do a 3.8L swap and have 210HP or something like that..i wonder if anyone has gone to a 3.3-3.8 into like a daytona or similar.?

my last race was against a 11sec grand National at the track. and my last street race was against a 2100-lbs 5 speed non turbo talon with the typical ricer mods like a fart can, headers, HOT air intake, LoL.. and i won 4 out of 5 races the first one he won cause he took of right as he was saying SET..lol but what ricer do you know that ever has the ball to admit they lost fair and square thats why it took 5 races for him to understand that his talon wasnt faster than my Daytona. After every race he would say something like, dude i spun my tires too long, dude im burning a lil oil, dude the clutch is not grabing very well. hahaha and every time after we had passed the finish line mark that we spray painted, i would slow down but he would keep going trying to look like a bad ass.. I HATE RICERS but they are fun to race..

1st Generation 3.3 Engine Assembly (Stock),1997 Upper Intake Manifold, 60mm (jeep) Throttle Body, Cone Airfilter, 3" Exhaust System, Gc brakes, rebuilt k- member w/ energy suspension poly bushings, Kyb gas adjust shocks, 2.5 inch drop. not to mention the 18'' adr rims. But then again that's what they say when ma wagon gets "zippy"

there are a bunch of us TD guys across the river over here in windsor....we like to go and play @ milan sometimes ive yet to been to lapeer

also there are a few older td guys that gather every 2nd thursday of the month @ a buffalo wild wings.
