Before you spend money, on sensors you don't need, read this.

Do you still have the IAC from the 52mm TB?

You have to use an IAC for a 52mm TB. The stock 3.0L TB IAC wont work, because the IAC pintle is too small in diameter, and that causes a major vacuum leak.

Did you try what I suggested about your TPS sensor placement?

The TPS sensor can, very easily, be put on wrong.

Excuse me, but it most definitely is because of the size of the IAC, the pintle on it to be precise, that does matter.

The position of the IAC sensor wiring plug, being at a slightly different angle than the stock IAC plug, is really of no consequence at all.

You have to place the throttle plate blade (/), that the TPS sensor fits over, between the two dots ( : ) that are inside the TPS sensor barrel, so it is like this .... ./' ....., and then the TPS sensor barrel will be rotated when the throttle plate opens.

When looking at the TB from the TPS sensor side, thus /, the throttle plate blade rotates clockwise as throttle opens.

This is the wrong way ('/.), because the plate moves too far, before it touches a dot and causes the TPS sensor barrel to rotate.

Do it this way --> ./'

There. Finally! whew
Oops.

"When looking at the TB from the TPS sensor side, the throttle plate blade (/) rotates counterclockwise as the throttle opens". ..... not clockwise.

So then .....

You have to place the throttle plate blade (/), that the TPS sensor fits over, between the two dots ( : ) that are inside the TPS sensor barrel, so it is like this .... '/. ....., and then the TPS sensor barrel will be rotated when the throttle plate opens.

This is the wrong way (./'), because the plate moves too far, before it touches a dot and causes the TPS sensor barrel to rotate.

i used the 46mm sencers on the 52mm TB and its working fine. it does stay at about 1,000RPM idle for a few second when i let of the gas, but then it goes back to 550RPM. I like the 52mm tb because it sounds like a turbo is spooling up when i give it gas. hehe

No way.

The IAC pintle on the 46mm TB .... is much smaller in diameter .... than the 52 mm TB IAC pintle.

Lookin is correct that the on the 52mm TB you need to use an IAC from a 52mm because of the different size pintles.

You want to use the TPS sensor from your original TB because of the neck angle for the connector is different for different engines/vehicles.
