Well no wonder then.
The blow-thru 2.2/2.5L turbo setups use the same basic throttle body the 3L V6 uses. It would appear that older ones used a different connector. That may be true for the 3L as well....

I do know that older (ie. '87) 3L MAP sensors use a different connector than more recent ones (ie '93).

Yeah, I was just trying to make a similar statement on the 46mm IAC versus the 52mm IAC. (sorta saying, yeah "lookin" is right. I have been there before) Because unless I am mistaken the TB's are all swappable. I know going into telling you about the connectors was a little too far, but I was trying to explain why I changed the pintles, that's all.
BUT saying that, the connector on my '90 3.0 46mm TB IAC is the same as my '87 Shelby 46mm TB IAC.
