So after almost a year my project has finally been completed i will post some pics as well as some videos soon. Had to end up sending the car to a mechanic for electrical work cost 100 dollars and it was well worth it. The car still has the 2.5 interior harness but the rest of the electrical is from a 1991 daytona 3.0.

I have a couple of questions that i know you guys could answer though.

1.The throttle is from a 1995 dodge caravan 3.3. I have set up a cold air intake on it. THe only prob is when i turn the car on it is god awfully loud. Sounds like it is sucking in a lot of air. I dont know if its a normal sound due to the larger throttle?

2. This might answer the first question but took the car out for a spin and it goes decent but will start to act like its stalling at around 4500 rmp. It has some older gas in it. Wondering what could cause the car to try and stall out.

These are the last things i need to get done until i can drive the car daily so thanks for the input and ideas.

Correct me if i am wrong.

I don't think a 91 vs 92 TPS will make a difference. The key differences in TPS is the angle/position for the connector. Any potential to get some video of the issues?

1) sounds "normal", a more open intake system means you will hear more of the noises from it.
2) Not sure what you mean by "stall". Which transmission are you running?

yea i will post a vid tommorrow.

I have a five speed in the car. What is happening though is that it sounds like it is not getting fuel to the car when you hit 4500 rpms. It has lots of trouble getting up past that. The car pretty much will begin to jerk around at 4500. It will act like someone is hitting the brakes but then it will accelerate if you understand what i mean lol.

But yea video will be easier

Are you running the proper fuel pump and fuel regulator? I have a 3.0 in a 1990 Lebaron acually start leaking from to much gas. The previous owner had put an earlier larger FPR from a van on by mistake. I didnt see in your post whether you switched fuel pumps in the tank......

That is what I would look for. Hook up a fuel pressure gauge and tape it onto the windshield, drive it around and see what the fuel pressure is doing when it bucks and jerks.

EGR vac lines changed a lot then and I'm not sure. I think it's 3&2 plugged, vac 1&4

5: On the 3.0 cars there's a purge solenoid loacated right next to the passenger side engine mount. There are 2 inputs. (Bottom) One goes to your vapor can, located near the passenger side headlight. (Top) The other hose goes to the fuel rail.

The plug connector above your master cylinder connects to the cruise control. Which you don't have.

By the way, I used to live in Lowell.

There are some purge solenoids at my JY in Grand haven if you need one. I am not positive but, I think the original auto 4sp auto (A604 trans) cars did not have that identical purge solenoid, the last time I looked at the JY. I'll have to check again.

Did you keep your original vapor canistor on the original 2.5 daytona?

Sure sounds like a fuel pressure problem, YOU MUST USE A V6 or TURBO car fuel pump, TBI pumps won't cut it. If you do have they right pump still check the pressure. EVAP stuff won't affect the car if its not hooked up, but may if it's hooked up wrong causing a vac leak. MAP, FPR both must see vac for the enigne to run right
