My cruise control was relocated, by jeremy, to under the battery tray in my Caravan. I keep hoping that somebody will want it bad enough to trade me something good for it. I do go back and forth on it, but I never use it.

Yeah I am planning on turbocharging it after the megasquirt and everything else gets fixed. I want to get used to tuning with the MS. Then I will step it up.

One piece of advice.....forget Chilton, forget Haynes. You want a factory service manual (FSM). It has EVERYTHING you can possibly imagine, diagnostic codes and procedures, full wiring charts with bundle routing and splice locations, and some nice illustrations. The bad news is that they can be hard to find and/or expensive. I got most of mine for about $75 from www.techauthority.com but they only go back to 1995 now. Ebay has the 90 Daytona one semi-regularly, usually the paper book version in the $25-$30 range. You may be able to get a copy of the CD version from somebody on here too.

BTW if you search on ebay, search the ebaymotors part AND the regular books section as well.

To accurately tell you what it is, it would be helpful to to know the wire color coding...

If you want a factory cruise control, I think I have one or two laying around. I never use cruise and usually take it off when I am doing major mods and never put it back on...

My buddies 3.0 92 daytona has that same 1-wire connector which is also unused. IDK what it is for but it can't be important if it's unplugged right?

If his car never came with factory cruise he also needs the switches on the steering wheel, and possibly it might have a different clock spring for cruise, vs. non-cruise cars. Everything else *should* be there on a '90 car to plug-n-play IIRC.

Yes...lol i took the rear hach shocks off cause mine were dead. and the rear hach on that daytona has a wind shield wiper on set up, wich i thought was wierd cause i didnt know daytonas ever came with a wiper blade on the rear hach.

That red and gray daytona is exactly like mine from the outside same color and everything so if i ever get in an accident or what ever i can just got pull the parts off.

oh now im wondering if i can get the wind shield from it since i just broke mine trying to put the hood on.???

Well, my new motor mounts came in on Friday from Rock Auto. They always ship my orders really fast. So far I have been very happy with them. Didn't get much done this weekend because we had 2 parties for my Daughters 7th Birthday.

However on Sunday I did manage to fill the engine / transmission mounts with some polyurethane. I'll get some pic's up asap. My wife hijacked my camera.

Just FYI: I have been working on the waxy grease sh!t that is all over the engine bay. I got the passenger inner fender all cleaned up an it looks nice. I have tried GUNK engine degreaser, GUNK foam engine cleaner, and even oven cleaner.. For this application the GUNK engine degreaser seems to work the best on this thick sh!t. I'll get some more pictures up as soon as I get my camera from my wife.
