Fixed. Hogged out the FPR and fittings and that seems to have tipped the car into the "happy zone" where it doesnt misfire when getting into boost.

With a 3.4 volt drop and further massaging of the regulator passages (i radiused all the bends too...one of which I was only able to do that to because of how much I drilled out the hole).

But I am probably going to take the turbo parts off and install them on my Spirit temporarily. I am just happy I got the fuel system sorted out :)

I am running from the - to the + and getting a 1.7 volt drop for each rectifier :)
Twin rectifiers for each pump.

The GM resistors supposedly fail all the time so I don't want to go there. I found out about those during my research.

The Junkyards new Junk Motor. 10:1 heads/cams - Car Videos on StreetFire

These drop voltage to the fuel pump. Voltage rectifiers meant to change ac to dc current. The pumps are a lot quieter right now and have a lower pitch.

31+mph on the back half of the track. Just not putting the power down.

It almost burned down today. Took one last drive before my trip to visit parents and one of the fuel lines I had redid burst (right next to the turbo). Lost over 2 gallons of e85 but somehow no fire. It evaporated very quickly. I normally have an extinquisher but it was in the trunk of my Spirit from the last time I raced (I don't have a bracket to hold it down). Found a fitting that I drilled out had some sharp edges sticking out and it was cutting the hose.

Stupid video is still encoding. Nice cam lope.

They are custom from a local cam guy who also happens to be a student housing developer :P

They are 216@.050" lift and about .450" lift
278 ADV.

But thats all the info I have "mitsu turbo roller"
I could probably figure it out using my degree kit. I think these cams would still work good in an n/a motor. Honestly you better rev over 7k or you are wasting your time with them. Even advanced 4 degrees I don't hit peak hp before the 6200 rev limiter. btw mopar3.0, we have valvetrain options we can talk about if you need to rev to 8k ;). OEM parts too. Also ED, we have +3 and +2.7mm exhaust valves available off the shelf from mitsu...which would work with these cams great since they are slightly longer then stock. The exhaust is inconel!

The highest hp n/a 6g72 is still a 12 valve and with more RPM's and breathing ability.... ;) I love seeing Mopar3.0 pushing n/a 3.0. I LOVE his intake manifold. I am now the owner of a variable intake 12v Diamante intake manifold but It has weird coolant passages.

My cam guy grinds his teeth doing free regrinds for a local TOP FUEL car so he is VERY experienced with 8000hp boosted motors :P
I found this out when I saw him smiling ear to ear as he walked into my machine shop holding a new experimental Top Fuel cam.

These cams probably require lash caps (still need to buy some) and you cant run them on a stock head unless you lower the install height of the valve guide seal or shave a bit off the valve spring retainer. Or run longer valves.

bounce off the rev limiter when the first yellow light drops. let out clutch as fast as you can but don't side step.

run about 9psi in the tires.

do you have a 2 step? I would try something between 6200 and 7000ish. seriously! (I forgot you have MS for a second there!)
When I MS i might try setting up a 2 step/antilag so i will launch at a lower rpm in that situation but I will be leaving with boost (I already leave with 5psi @ 6200 rpms).
Thats why i say even 7000 rpms might work great on those slicks. I bet you can pull a 1.7 with no boost.

do you think these cams you have are worth the time and money to fix the heads to be able to use them

are the crowler reginds good enough with ported heads and over sized valves if i remember correctlly at the begaining when you flow benched your heads you said that after so much lift you didn't get much more flow i thought it was at like .350 to .400 was only worth 50 cfm so if you went past what these heads flow so it worth going for the extra lift

only asking so when i go to build my motor i want to go for the max that is worth the $.

when you getting that thing to the track with the new motor
