motor mount pics!!! will be welded in by weeks end! I have one more gusset to fab up. but this is about what it will look like when done!

not bad looking at all! whats with the wicked tall mount bolts though?

Also, In leu of it being an "L" type bracket setup, I'd suggest butting a cross-piece near the top to keep the mount from distorting under the massive torque you will have :)

yea, the top and the lower front will be welded together. then a front gusset to hold it still. the bolts are due to not having the correct length bolts!!!LOL I will buy new ones soon!

ahh good call on the re-enforcement.

Also, on the bolts, thread two nuts on up to the head, then cut them to length and round the edge, then take the nuts off. :) cheap and easy fix

the bolts are only threaded up about 1/2 way up. so i will have to buy new ones. but it is OK. I was looking at the stock HP and TQ for this motor and then thinking about the "mild" mods I have done i decided to make sure I built a mount to hold it. also I just signed for my MS2 box!!!!YEAH!! so when Ed gets my heads done I will be able to start final assembly!!

well after a month of emails and phone calls UPS is sending me a check to cover the damages to the heads. and i should have that check in a few days! so I hope to get Ed Kelly back to work on my heads very soon!!

click on "new reply" and get the responce page. then open another tab. go to your pictures and click on a pic. then right click on the picture and you'll see "copy image location, click on that. then go back to the replay when you will see this symbol

click on this image and right click on the bar, and paste the image location into the bar then click on OK. that will post the link to the pic on the replay.
