I know it sounds funny. but this mazda ran great under 10psi of boost yet at idle it ran like crap!!! and it was all plugs! I would try the long jeep 4.0 plugs.

any one know if a daytona or lebaron ever came with a 5 speed hooked up to the 3.0l?

the trans i pulled out of the parts van is a dud so i am back to squar one lol

but no can't have a manual do to my knee so in the spring will start the search for a a670 3 speed any one know of a good place that lists beefing them up?

the 543 5 speed trans can be had. depending on where you live they can be hard or easy to find! walk thru the junk yards and search thru craigslist and Ebay you can find everything you need if your patient and willing to look.

local mopar only junk yard has a few 3 speed caravans that i can choose form $150 and i have a trans TC and kick down and shift cable

not sure if half shafts are the same or different for the a604 and a413/a670

well ran into an interesting issue the plenum will not fit the 89 fuel rail form the van

it pushes up on the bottom of my 92 plenum and there is a 1/4 inch of clearance i have never read any thing about this type of issue and was wondering if any one had an idea?

i know spacers would work but i do not have the tools to make them or really the money right now to buy them for $100 but may have to

now that is interesting! I have never heard of that happening. is there any way you can post a pic?

will do the bump on the bottom is hitting the rear rail that feeds the injectors

do i have an oddly cast intake? who knows it is interesting the 89 intake fits fine but the bottom is flat wile the 92 intake i have has a bulge so the 92 may have more intake volume so more power? maybe

the 89 is also a no go as it has a crack in form when i removed the engine form the van

ha found the problem it's the injector harness

apparently on the older fuel rails it has to go under it (it's routed that way in the pics i have of the van engine) but on the newer rails the wiring harness when on top easy fix just unplugged the injectors and fed it under the rail the plenum sits fine now

i may have a turbo it's form a 3.4L grand am engine (not originally i am getting the number soon) comes with the turbo, waste gate, oil drain back, and an oil supply line. also has a manifold that is of no use but i could re-sell that

edit: i am told it is from a 7mgte supra 3.0L single turbo i think for the goal i have for this car it will be fine and $100 shipped can't complain no shaft play and no carbon build up looks brand new. the goal was always to just fave a fun quick car that ran 13's with the top down
