Finally got the spirit on the road.

Everything works, trans seems excellent, seems to run and drive great. Gotta figure out the HVAC controls and fix the valve seals, oil pan gasket, and rear valve cover gasket is leaking(looks like it was over tightened once).

Planning on painting it satin black and redoing the flakes once I fix the couple issues.

The fan switch was bad and it was missing a vacuum line. The HVAC controls are operational now and everything works.

Picking up the gaskets and seals tonight, so the oil leaks/burning will be solved tommorrow.

It's getting there. Gotta swap the tps out too, but it's excellent otherwise. Happy the wife let me save it from going to the boneyard.

yea, My wife is cool with the hobby too! she drove the lebaron for 5 years!!! I think she loves TD's just as much as me!!!

Thanks running good but gotta get real head gaskets and get the coated cork ones that came with it out asap.

Got the head gaskets swapped to the proper gaskets.

Got the Flakes refinished. Painted them Gloss Jet Black, they look super nice.

Smoked out the tails, seeings they were looking kinda rough.

Also got all the body work finished, so now its ready for the final sanding and its fresh coat of black paint.

It's coming back to life very quickly.

Fresh coat of satin black laid on and it looks super sexy (sittin in the garage). I gotta get some pics up.

The alternator decided it should cook and melt the ground wire off it in the process. So now I gotta get that fixed.
