I would like to swap my plenum for one that dosent have an
egr, because the
egr plenum has an extra protrusion that sticks down farther than the non
egr does. My
egr is already deleted, however the vacuum routing is different on the two plenums...
Here is a picture of my
egr plenum compared to the non
egr plenum, the vacuum fitting on the top of the
egr is what is confusing me, i cant figure out what it is used for.
It appears to just "t" into the vacuum line that goes to the charcoal canister. (ignore the clear vacuum line and the loop that it connects to, that is for my vacuum gauge)
Also there is an extra vacuum line off the back of the non
egr plenum that appears to be used by the emissions system, i think it is just a different design than my emissions system.
They are both the same year, however my car is an auto.
