Each of the motors has their strong suits. Whether the car would be something you would want to own depends on what you want and how the car matches that. I think you'd have to give some more info about what you want or like before i could say whether a spirit is worth looking into.

KnightMoves, good idea, but I live in an apartment complex. Only way to store the motor is IN the car! I dont have the extra cash to just rent a bay at the hobby shop on Ft Sill either! xDD

Definately through a low ball offer out there.
Heck if you can get it to run even better. I bought my Iroc for $300 and it wasn't running and for sure had no brakes. Now I am enjoying it everyday!

Good luck!

I'd still go ask if is a customers car all you lost was a few minutes to ask than hours wondering if the car could be for sale.

True. Lol. I'll go over there when I replace my radiator a SECOND time. IN TWO MONTHS. Guess that's what I get for being cheap and getting used parts.

Used parts can be a great way to get a good bang for the buck, but of course you have to be careful about the parts ya buy.

I have gotten burned by used parts in the past, but for some reason I still buy them.......probably cause I am a broke _______.

I would definatly go to the shop and ask how much the car is, if its for sale, or if you can talk to the owner.
