Hello I am new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm gettin out of dsm's. well to start off my car is a 94 dodge spirit 3.0 v6. Completely stock at the moment. My plans for it are for a 52mm Tb,underdrive pulleys, porting my manifold, gettin better wires , full exhaust and CAI. As far as the intake I'm just getting hard piping from the parts store and a cone K&N filter. The exhaust I want to run 2.5 in piping all the way back with no cat and a single in and dual out muffler. I already have the 52mm Tb just have to port my mani first. I thought about underdrive pulleys but I herd as far as if you have a stereo on Ur car it pulls the alt. bad. But as far as anything else others have done and seen results from I would try it. It would all have to be easyish stuff. I mean I could do a full build but this is my dd at the time so I'm limited on my time able to have it torn apart. Thanks

OK, cool!!!! to address your post in the other thread. to remove the dizzy and go with coil packs you'll have to go with a stand alone computer. Megasquirt is the most popular around here. they are a lot cheaper than other on the market and DIY auto tune is one of our venders. a number of us have ditched the dizzy so getting help with it will be easy! here is a link to the DIY site!!

I have run a UDP before, the biggest problem will be at idle. If it gets too low the alternator may not be able to keep up. So voltage will drop from ~14v to 13v or 12v.

I don't run a stereo with big amps so I can't personally speak to if that is enough draw.

Bottom line for a normally-aspirated car, if you are looking for a little more power, it can gain you 4whp (off peak hp.) It is a noticeable gain...

For a turbo car, I would rather bump boost up a little more...

Alright I don't have any thing rediculous just a 400watt amp and a small sub. And also my goal is to try to get clost or at 200 whp with out going into the motor if that is possible.

ok, here is the path i would take. first you wont have to go into the lower end of the motor BUT,it would help if you did. First, get a set of stage 2 ported heads from KM performance,2nd a set of regrind cams from some one like Crower, 3rd megasquirt. i would get the MS3 and use the ignition from like a dodge 3.3/3.8 or like I did an ignition from a 3000gt/stealth. another ignition is the ford edis. next get a set of headers made for your car and run 3 inch exhaust to the rear. install a walboro 255 fuel pump and a new adjustable fuel pressure regulator. use jeep 4.0 spark plugs. if you want to really help the motor replace the stock pistons for a set of 10:1 pistons from a 95 Mitsubishi Diamante rock auto sells them new! stick with the factory crank pulley, you'll need to to install the crank trigger wheel for the distributorless ignition. Also your intake. get a lower from a montairo and build a custom intake with a 90mm throttle body from a Q45! it is a great throttle body and will give you great throttle response with out being hard to drive! if you want to go cheaper keep the distributor and not use the megasquirt and just go with Emanage blue. it will increase your fuel with out effecting the ignition.
