What he said... Both are pretty easy to remove. Just be a bit careful with either one, and when you figure out you aren't breaking things just because you hear a pop or snap, it all goes quickly.

KR4MC Steve is ready to make a name for oneself
The two big secrets to removal of the floor console:

1. Pull the handbrake up until you think it is going to break off.
2. Recline seats back as far as possible.

Additional suggestion while console is out ( 5-Speed Only)

Add some Urethane shift bushings. They are cheap, relatively easy to install & really tighten up the shifter feel & '"click" into the gear positions. :x

My wife asked me if I had installed a Hurst Shifter before I "fessed" up that I only changed $25 worth of bushings. :}
