Hey every one,,
Newbie to the PT Cruiser world.
I just picked up a 2006 convertible with the 2.4 Turbo engine.,
After doing a new owner maintenance checks.
Took it for a ride an found out it started ,idled, and ran great.
Until I tried to step down on it.
At 3500 r.p.m. it bucked and skipped and the check engine light came on.
Went and got it checked and came back P2074 as you know MAP sensor.
Went to fuel up and the the blue/oil smoke came out the tail pipe.

Tried to get home,,it got worse NO power..
Is the turbo gone and are the TWO related to one another???

THANKS
Any Help Is A Help

Code P2074 is Map Voltage Not Equal To Throttle Position.

Your issue is most likely related to a Vacuum Leak, Collapsed Vacuum Line to the Map or a Leak/Restriction in the Air Intake System.
