I got a 89 shadow 2.2 auto, blew a fuse holder in the panel in the car,the blower motor, totally melted. how hard is it to replace the whole panel since that is what is needed? just unplug unbolt and replace, or is it more complicated. looks like i can jsut undo a few main connectors and pull it out, never worked on a shadow before any help is appreciated.

If this is your pride and joy, I'd replace the fuse box. Otherwise, I'd just put an inline fuse to the new blower motor and forget it. It will be a lot of work. You have to remove the entire dash to get to where the wires go, as well as the door sill on the driver's side. Depending on options, you might end up gutting the car to get to wires under the carpet and so forth.

Seriously consider the fuse holder to get it running again.
