Every mount I buy has the square area made out of plastic (the anchor brand). And, every time I goto knock the metal square piece into the mount, it breaks the mount's plastic square.

There is the pic...

Why does it break every damn time? I think its not the right size, but this has happened twice. And why is the bolt so loose? Am I missing something? A spacer?

I have 2 days to fix it, monday I work. Help!

I fixed it. Turns out Anchor changed their mount manufactor or whatever. The mount made from India contained a NEW metal sliding piece, thats right.... that metal piece is supposed to slide left and right to allow some wiggle room for the motor.

So, what happened in the picture is the rust caused the metal to be bigger then it is supposed to be and caused broken mounts.

If this ever happens to you guys mount it in a vise and take a grinder to it.
