ok a built a t3/t4 set-up on my shelby charger 86 , g-head , ported exaust, 3 inch downpipe an exaust , external wastegate and t2 computer and wires

and i ran strong for few days ... then the engine started to have low oil pressure and heard a noise from the head ( maybe rod bushing)

why did it run lean ? turbo kik to fast for the smec ? im working on rebuilt soon ...

If you lost a rods bering it could cause low oil pressure. The culprit is probably the the computer is set up to deliver fuel based on air of a stock turbo, the Hybrid is delivering more air and the computer doesnt know this and it goes lean. Now this would be so under full throttle as the computer goes to preset fuel tables and doesnt use the O2 sensor as it would under normal driving conditions.

You need to upgrade the computer and injectors (FWDP) and get a A/F meter, preferable wideband to tune the car.

yeah. you were running pretty lean. i would really suggest calling a vendor and getting a custom cal made for all the stuff you got done. i would go for a 3 bar +40 cal. I got a stage 5 cal from cindy and i love it. im current running a high spark map made for race gas to get the most timing out of it i can. no problems what so ever.
