The A-413 Trans uses a 2 Pin VSS.
I'm not knowledgable of the meanings of all the anacronyms and abbreviations that are utilized a lot on the TD website. Seems that most everyone "thinks" that everyone else knows what they mean.........I don't........maybe there needs to be a sticky with all the durn anacronyms and abbreviations listed so newbies, such as myself, could go reference it instead of feeling stupid for not knowing.

Soooo I have to humbly ask; "What is a 2 Pin VSS??" and how does that apply to my situation??

I was aware that the A-604 was a 4-speed electronic control transmission........however I don't think that was an option in a 1991 Plymouth Acclaim with the 2.5L TBI !?? Anyways the car has a 413 automatic and now I'm presuming that since it's non-turboed that it has a lock-up torque converter(TC) .

Thanks again for all the input..........as stated before I would like to know what is involved in the removal of the Instrument Cluster(IC) in this car. Is a simple job to do once you know what the procedure is??

The Vehicle Speed Sensor 0n the A-413 has a 2 Pin Connector as opposed to the 3.0L with an A-604 which uses Input and Output Speed Sensors and a Transmission Control Module.
I posted Detailed Instuctions on Removing the Instument Cluster.
