i am currently having this same problem, just put everything back together, car ran and idled fine.....just checking over everything while it was running, car dies. now it refuses to start, just cranks, sputters and dies. hooked up the scan tool, no codes, service engine light flashed a code 25.....use to just have to unhook the battery the last time it did this(over two years ago, last time the car was together)
any suggestions would be great help. Thanks, Paul

replace the AIS relay. That should be what is killing it... Take the relay with you, the auto parts store may need it for reference

Or if you have spare relays, just match the prongs(sp?) up with the same numbers as the original. I had this issue with a 92 sundance with code 25, replaced relay car ran, transmission was about dead though

Sorry that was the Auto Shutdown Relay I replaced It's been a long day

Anyways the AIS motor is on the throttle body, it is the bottom sensor/motor of the two on it.

after swapping out the relays, i jumped two terminals on the asd connector causing nothing to happen. checked codes on the scanner and found asd circuit short or something like that. cleared the code and it fired right up. put the old one back in, and it still fired right up.....baffling
