ok i disconnected the battery cable and went for a spin and it ran good but no boost. ill check boost later. park car and check code.

is this mean im ok and all i should do now is change the hep in the distributor and check my hoses on the turbo for leaks.

Can you hear the turbo spool? Usually with a leak in the turbo plumbing you will hear the turbo spool but you will not get boost because it is not reaching the engine.If you do not hear the turbo spool you need to check the turbo itself which is not my strong point.I would suggest a new thread in the turbo section for this problem.
Also if you are replacing the HEP it is recommended to replace with Mopar as aftermarket HEP's seem to create more problems than they cure. If you cannot get one locally some of the vendors on this site carrry original Mopar parts.
