Non-Turbo van computer question

Engine: 2.5L I-4
Induct: Turbo
1/4: 0.000

There is a lady here localy that has a 92 Chrysler 2.5 AT minivan. Dealer told her the computer is bad and it is no longer in stock (pn 4778503). Is this something that can be replaced with other computers? or is this the only pn computer that will work. She is afraid something will be "messed up". if she uses another comuter.
