Holy crap rich?

My car had a problem with a fuse blowing and I replaced the fuse. Then earlier today I had a problem with the car running super rich and stumbling all over and that fixed itself, now I seem to have lost my speedo.. Its a digital dash and the speed displays a constant 0...

Did I just lose the speeometer cable or something? How hard is that to fix? I just bought this car and all I've had is trouble with it...

Crap!

Year, Model, Engine and Trans (Manual or Auto) Please.
Don't fret, obviously the vehicle was not maintained and the all the bugs were allowed to accumulate once all the surprises show themselves and you make the repairs TD's are pretty reliable.I have had mine since new,she will be 18 on 9/24.

It's a 1986 Daytona with a 2.5CB and the 520(?) Manual transmission.

So I pulled the code and it flashed once, then waited then flashed twice, then flashed 5 times twice.

Is that a code 13?

If it is, then that isn't the speed sensor, that's the MAP sensor (which is plugged in).

No, that's likely code 12 (1 then 2) and 55 (5 then 5). You can look it up, but the 12 is not a problem and 55 is end of test. A speed sensor usually throws a code 15 when it goes bad.

Since you have a digital dash, I'm going to say your speedometer issue is likely a bad solder in the cluster. The digital dashes seem to have that problem a lot. I had a 87 LeBaron that the speedometer would just 0 out on. Redid the solders on the board and it worked fine from then on.
