I just busted my #2 spark plug because I have the wrong SP socket. What do you guys use for plugs? I started off with the NGK GR4's then I was told with the amount of modifications that Ihave to go from 4 to 9 Currently using the GR9's. Is that too cold or what?

Autolite AR51's. Same heat range as a RN6YC but will run fine on a stock or modified car.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts on plugs. GR5's is probably what I will go with.

Heh ... what do the plugs look like?

Read the electrode to determine if the heat range is correct for your application ... not what "everybody" says to use. You should see a distinct change in color midway down the electrode if the heat range is right.

The AR51's have a cut back electrode so the flame propagates towards the piston rather than towards the wall like regular plugs. The electrode and insulator are also much thicker for better heat disapation. And they're not too expensive.
