Hello all, I havnt posted here since 2003!

This is where its at. 1989 shadow is the project. We just put in a engine from a lebaron. The problems we have are, the wiring for the 02 is a 3-wire prong. the 02 had 4 wires on it... how do I rewire this?

When I rev the engine, It will rev from idle up to 2000rpm with no in-between but revs fine after 2000rpm. Is there a sensor that could be doing this?

Now regarding the engine, is there any other compatibilities that I'm missing? Computer the same etc? It reads 10psi on the scale... this is the proper boost?

3 Wire HO2S Connector to Engine Harness
Black - Black/Dark Green O2 Signal to Controller 60 Pin Cavity #23
White - Black Power Ground to a Splice in the Engine Harness to Controller 14 Pin Cavity #'s 6 + 7 and 60 Pin Cavity #'s 15 + 16 (Becomes Light Blue/Red at Splice to 60 Pin)
White - Dark Green/Black Power for Heater from ASD Relay.
4 Wire HO2S Connector to Engine Harness
Gray - Black/Light Blue Sensor Ground for ALL Sensors to Controller 60 Pin Cavity #4
Black - Black/Dark Green O2 Signal to Controller 60 Pin Cavity #23.
White - Black Ground,Runs to Splice,to External Ground and Controller 60 Pin Cavity #'s15 + 16 (Becomes Light Blue/Red at Splice to Controller)
White - Dark Green/Black Power for Heater from ASD Relay.
Once you repair the HO2S wiring clear any faults from memory, drive the vehicle and recheck for faults.Repair as needed starting with the lowest # fault first. If no faults are present and your problem still exists start with basics,Cam Timing,Ignition Timing,Fuel Pressure,if basics are ok, Sweep the TPS with a Digital Voltmeter and be sure Voltage is correct and that there are no Dead Spots.

Think we messed up Badly... (or is it a good thing? lol)

We believe we installed a 2.5t in replacement of the 2.2t... Now that the 2.5 is in and running, will it still be okay running the 2.2 computer? Anything else we should be aware of? Injectors running lean??

I think the 2.2 ecu causes it to run lean, I wouldn't advise it

do some searching I think it would be lean too but I think I remember a thread they put in bigger injectors with the 2.5 and 2.2 cal and adjusted fuel pressure to get it to not go lean. You didn't say is this a turbo car? If so is the 2.5 from a turbo car?

If it were a T2 then the 2.5 injectors should be the same 33lb/hr. Also it might throw a code 23 if you use a 2.5 intake with no charge sensor.
