I have an 88 daytona shelby z and I was wondering if a K frame from an omni would fit into the daytona.

This morning I hit a rough spot in the road and broke my frame. The frame broke and pulled an axle out of the trans.

So if anyone could let me know if an omni K frame would work I would appreciate it. thanks.

nope L-body's have a unique K-frame (as do vans, right ??) ..

but EVERY other TD should work G/H/J/AA/K/EEK/etc

note they made some running changes i.e. from the single-hinge to the dual hinge lower control arm (LCA), then from stamped to cast LCAs - so you will have to get the same style as what you have

88 G-body: I think is the single-hinge ?

Same style kframe from an n/a should be easy to find, but you have quick ratio steering that would need to be used on the new k frame. And the four bolts holding the rack will probably have one spot welded nut in the kframe break loose unless you bribe it with pb blaster.

Got it fixed. Welded it back myself. I welded a plate onto the frame and is now stronger than ever!
