Yea check the ECU out, when we got the shadow the ECU was all toasty inside. I believe the voltage regulator is in there as well.

now, you have to ask yourself, what caused this to happen. sounds a lot like a dead short somewhere.

In a former career I was an electrical engineer. While earning my degree, a professor told me that most electronic parts run on magic smoke. Once you let the magic smoke out, the part no longer works.

All joking aside, it could be a fuse-able link. It could also be the ecu. What do you run for an air filter? If its a cone, then maybe the heat cycles finally caught up with you. I've got a feeling these ECUs need the little bit of air pulling across them that is provided by the engine running.

Your in the ATL, just like me, and I decided to put a computer fan on my ecu when I changed the airbox setup. It just gets too hot and humid for too long here. Combine that with our terrible traffic, and over time, somethings gotta go.

hey guys thanks for all the help and to tell you it was a fusible link under all the mess they call the wiring harness i found it and now trying to diagnose why it blew one of the links, the wire that runs from the main power to a block on the fender then to the pcm 1 wire through the fire wall and 2 out to engine, with all that said i notice to i have a stinger car charger with spare battery plugged up
not sure if that put to much draw on the circuit, because before i plugged it up everything was fine then this morning was when the problem happend
I hope for the best and will update with further info so no one else has this happen thanks again guys
