I have a 1982 Dodge Rampage with a 2.2 L and a 4 speed manual trans. The engine has had a lot of work done to it including bored .40 over and ported polished balanced stroked and shaved head. My problem is I just replaced the plugs and put a msd pro coil on and now it has a sever miss. Any ideas?

Put the stock coil back in and see how it runs?

Thanks for the info I will get one tomorrow and try it. Does it have to muck spark at this time? At high RPM's it seemes not to have as much of a miss.

Could be a cracked plug or bad ignition wire also. The spark plugs porcelain insulator can get cracked if dropped. Pulling the wires off to install the plugs can break an end. Did you check the plug gap? How does the cap and rotor look? Increasing the spark can increase the chance of mis-firing.
