Get yourself a hoist and drop the engine with transmission out. Disconnect vacuum lines, downpipe, fuel lines (or just unbolt the fuel rail), engine mounts, half shafts, wiring...

Deal with the turbo AFTER the engine/transmission are out of the car.

know anyone selling one for under the $200 price tag at Jegs? Everything is disconected as it sits (fuel rail, sensors, vac lines ect. Theres no exhaust on the car whatsoever. it stops at the Swingvalve. Axles are already out ect.) Though the pic of where you have the jack connected to helps alot, I couldnt figure out where the hell Id hook up at

Try your local pennysaver or craigslist or or harbor freight for an hoist.

Check your owner manual for factory jack points for the front.

i got my hoist for 150" from shucks and its a fairly good hoist pulled a few big blocks and trannys with it and a 2.2 and the 2.2 was the easiest cause i didnt have to use it to get it in my shed, unlike a 383 lol

yeah, ur owners manual will tell you that i went to sam's club and they had nice fold up cherry pickers for $126. so i bought 2, 1 for me one for my dad. i now own 3 cherry pickers. i bought my first one when i was 15. it was a hein warner good non-china, USA made. i paid $150 for it. my first week i owned it, my neighbor wanted to rent it to pull a motor from his van. so i helped him. i got $150 from him for my help and use of my new cherry picker. all these years later, every time i use it it's free!. so spending money on tools can make u money, if you are not the typical td internet looser and have some ambition to work.

the proper tools always help...
I always do my stuff in the shop where the mechanics have already paid big bucks for the fancy tools so I only have to ask to use good tools =)
