OK, as a typical 2.2 owner. I hit 15 psi and then my head gasket blew.
Any recommendations on a manufacterer of a good head gasket?

Mopar Performance FTW !

~22$ at any ChryCo dealer

(I'm a firm believer in a 'torque check' of the HG after 3-5 heat cycles)

Walk in your local Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler and ask for P4452005.

Or order it from FWD, and whatever you do, don't order it from TU. Turbododge.com owner does not want its members to promote TU.

+1. And I do not re-torque the head bolts. But, to each his own.

Edit: Don't forget good head bolts, too! MP at the LEAST.

Thanx guys thats what I figured. All I had to do was walk into work and order it. Love working for a Chrysler dealer! $19 for me ;-) Whomever put the head on before I got it, had no clue what torque specs or torque sequence was. If anyone needs some help with parts or parts look up ask me!

Make sure you clean/chase the threads before installing new headbolts. You'll regret it if you fail to do so.

+1 for the Mopar Performance Head Gasket. Fel-Pro is nothing but trouble. Especially at higher/any boost levels. Most likely fine for a N/A low compression motor. I personally nuked one at only 14 pounds. They "squish" into the combustion chamber area and for that reason are prone to early failure. I think i paid something like $60 canadian for the Mopar Performance head gasket and head bolts. The real kicker was that the lady at the parts counter told me the gasket has a 1 year warrany! Thats Crazy!
