have spark?
Any KABOOM?
Does it turn over fine?
Does it seem like its more of an electrical issue or mechanical issue?

I would say hep
Sorry read over your post realize you have no spark nor fuel
If the disk in the distributor is bad, the computer will not give you spark nor fuel since it can't get a signal.

yup the HEP or Hall Effect PICKUP AKA *disk in the distributor.
Got an extra one handy? When ever you go to yards thats the best thing to do is stock pile about 5 of them
Or do you have another td to trade the parts real quick
I am not saying that this is the definite answer but it sure sounds like it.
If you do buy a new one get the mopar one. Its expensive but the aftermarket ones are JUNK!

If the computer doesn't see a signal from the HEP the pump and the spark are stopeed by the computer. It must see a signal. Otherwise it will just crank and crank.
If its not the HEP, its either the computer, or you have some real shitty luck and two things went bad at once!

Sounds like a HEP. Come to think of it, i didn't hear my fuel pump when mine went bad last year either. It's 30 dollars at the most to replace it. I'd say go to autozone and go for it. And if that doesn't fix the pump, check the fuel pump relay

^cheapo. The aftermarket ones are prone to going bad
There are multiple threads on this.
For reliability of a daily driver I would only use the mopar HEP

i may be cheap. Yeah they may not be as good, but i was just going in the terms of a quick practical fix. Then he could buy a mopar one when the aftermarket craps out

I have heard of people popping the cap off of them and fixing the connections and the wires and everything on the aftermarket ones and they worked well.
But ya I guess for a quick fix it could work
But I have heard of ppl getting 5 aftermarket HEP's that are bad right out of the box IN A ROW
So I try not to recommend them
I dont wanna thread
*turbokid's a moron and my car won't start*
