I have a 1985 GLHt toy sitting in the garage for the last 8 years. What should I look out for when I get it back on the road?

everything is prolly dry rotted- tires belts vacuum hoses. seals are prolly also done too. cooling system will need some attention, flush it out good, look for rust chinks, definately need a new thermostat. unless you put fuel stabilizer in it when it was parked you'll have to drain the tank, new fuel filter, possibly new fuel pump. fuel hoses may be done too. mine had been sitting for 5 years when i bought it, inside of the gas tank looked like the inside of the titanic- the fuel hanger assembly broke in 2 when i pulled it out cause it was so corroded.
