87 shelby z daytona...block color question

im rebuilding my engine due to a cracked piston.i know somebody also did work on it because the pistons are .030 over.the block is originally blue .is it a 2.2 or 2.5???

All regular production 4-cyl. blocks from Chrysler from '84 on came black.

And if you see an orange one, it probably came from autozone which had some of the worst rebuilds I've ever seen.
