Engine swap

I've got an 89 2.2 turbo Lebaron with a cracked block and lots of bad noises. I've also got an 88 Horizon parts car with a good 2.2 fuel injected motor. Is there any reason I can't pull the intake and exhaust manifolds, and the distributor off the Lebaron motor, put them on the Horizon motor, and drop it back into the Lebaron?

You'll blow it up pretty quickly. Turbo exhaust valves are made of a different material, the pistons are flat for a lower compression ratio, N/A motors don't have an oil drainback tube for the turbo......... So, yeah, I guess there's a reason it won't work.
