My daytona is driving me crazy Bought it knowing it had a few bug(been setting for some time) High idle bad miss and no power. pcv elbow was missing few other vacuum leaks and a bad air charge sensor. Fixed the leaks and replaced the sensor. timing belt was a tooth off, fixed that and set timing. Done all the basics plugs wires cap fuel filter etc. Because it needed them! Still idles high about 1200 rpms and runs rough only when cold, warms up and the miss goes away, but still idles high. Tried to reset AIS didn't help thinking it could be my problems. Any help would be great. Replaced ecm, had a CSX with similer problem and that fixed it. Even tried asjusting the idle screw on TB, all the way out still the same. sorry so long

Sounds like you still have a vacuum leak.
Bring the car to "base" idle without AIS control and then look for the leak, you can use a spray bottle of water, rpm will drop when hit the spot.
What is engine vacuum reading at a manifold source? At the baro solenoid? At the Map Sensor?
I assume you do not have a scan tool to look at AIS steps?

High idle concerns will be caused by vacuum leaks, sticking throttle cable/plate, AIS circuit problems or timing problems.
First step always is to verify basics are correct and check for fault codes.
