I've finally (4 years later) gotten around to doing the TII swap on my Caravelle...I ended up finding a minty '87 Turbo II engine and transmission, which I am in the process of installing into my poor old Caravelle. I've got it all in, and everything fits up, but I'm getting ready to convert my AIS sensor over to a 4-wire, and I'm worried I don't have the right logic module for the job.
I bought what was supposedly a '87 Shelby CSX computer from a member on here several years ago, and since I'm finally putting it in, I thought I would check the part number. The PN is: R5227932, which according to the Mopar catalog, belongs to a '86 Turbo Z. Is this correct? Am I correct to assume this logic module will not work with my conversion? (It doesn't have the map sensor on the side, just the cutout.) What exactly would happen if it was run with this, or the original '87 electronics? Thanks guys!

well you need a MAP one way or another ; whether u mount it underhood or LM doesnt really matter..

THEN
I think the TI LM will *run* your TII ; but wont have the right AIS so idle will prolly be wacked .. and fuel might be off too so I wouldnt boost it

Google
also says 86 TI M/T for your R5227932
