Is there another starter that will fit in my car besides this one? NOBODY has one in stock and I NEEED to get to work tomorrow. How hard would it be to rebuild it?

Will the Bosch starter with a "mounting bracket" on back work? Everyone says they have that one in stock but not this one.

so whats wrong with it? does it click click click when you try starting but no crank? if so , it's a $10 repair that takes less than 15 min to fix.

thats a very common starter but any 2.2/2.5 starter will also work in your car.

IF I arc the silenoid on the starter it will turn over... I replaced the Starter relay and still nothing...

When I turn the car over I get nothing at all... no click, click , click , no noise at all

ok here is my progress so far. I found that the small wire that runs from the battery to a connector, then to the starter is not getting any juice when I turn the key over. So I riged up a Toggle switch so that when the key is in the ON position I can hit the toggle for a second or two and the car will fire rite up.. I''m guessing the problem is in the Ignition?

I'm glad that the local autoparts stores dont carry the starter. lol. not the problem

golly beaver... if you can jumper the starter solenoid and it cranks, wouldn't you think the starter is just fine? using rational and pragmatic problem solving skills can help you determine where the fault lies.

if all else fails, just run a jumper wire from the small terminal on the starter to inside the car and touch that wire to your cig ligher and it will send power to the solenoid thus allowing the starter to crank inturn allowing your engine to run so you can get to work tomorrow.

3.0 lebaron not starting

how about that, you figured it out without anyone holding your hand. great job. but don't use a toggle switch. if someone bumps it, you'll burn up a $100+ starter.
