I just finished intalling the head on my new engine using a copper shim, mopar gasket and new bolts. I had a brain fart, and didnt think to ask if I need to use any sealer on the shim It makes sense to...

I've never used a shim before, am I SOL? Or is it ok dry?

Yes you do install head shims dry. and you did put it between the block and the hg not between the head and the hg right? I have seen people do it wrong and they were doing it again very shortly.
