Timing on a TIII Spirit

I just got done putting a friend's 91 Spirit R/T 2.2 back together after her head gasket went, and now cannot figure out the timing. I don't see any marks on the cam gears or the crank pulley. Is there a trick to setting the timing on this thing? Also, there's a boost gauge hooked up inside, but the vacuum line for it is sort of just hanging in the engine compartment. Where would be good place to hook that up? Thanks!
