+ 1 on the magnaflow the drone sound is controlled by your exhaust exit

Take a look at Gus Mahon's review on some of the turbo Dodge muffler options:

walker / Dynomax (same thing) in super turbo form is the lowest noise level with the least back pressure.

If you don't care on a little restriction, like Warlock and Flowmaster levels of restriction buy a factory 3" muffler off a new Hemi truck or big block Chevy. Near dead silent with great flow. Many of these factory mufflers really flow with near zero noise, but they are heavy..

Add another one for the Dynomax super turbo. I've heard it on a couple of cars and it's sounds nice, but it isn't loud. As the Pope said, low back pressure as well. On the plus side, they're pretty inexpensive as well.

I am looking for gray interior trim for a J-body (1987-1989) LeBaron coupe hardtop. If you have anything please PM me before throwing it out. I am also selling tan trim if you're interested.

I would get rid of my cat b4 I got rid of my muffler.
I love running catless and mufflerless.
Less back pressure and you gotta love that fantastic sound

^ Yeah, but you can't run it on the street.

Electric butterfly valve, or Magnaflow. Never heard them on the TD's, but they sound GREAT on a truck, firebird, pinto with a chevy big block drop, anything I can think of that I've heard them on, I loved them (except a v6 'stang). I think the only thing I liked better is my dad's Harley.

Personally I like the sound of the stock muffler on my '84, but I'd be concerned cutting the exhaust openings wider without changing the sound. Has anyone done this? Or is there not enough flow through the muffler to even consider it viable?

LOL I run it on the street no prob. Shift easy in the city, try not to downshift into higher rpm and shut off your car when or if you get pulled over
